As most of you probably already know I am a shopping fanatic. I find that I am always at the mall even if I am just walking around. Because of this terrible habit I have to support, I have to find great garments and accessories at great deals. I found some fabulous finds at Moxsie, that you won’t want to miss out on! Happy savings!

Inspiration of the day: “I look my best after an entire hair and makeup team has spent hours perfecting me. When do I feel my best? When I haven`t looked in a mirror for days, and I`m doing things that make me happy.”- Anne Hathaway

Oscar de la Renta is one of those designers who really has the art of designing down to a science. I have always wanted one of his gowns because they are so special, and every girl wants to have a dress that makes them feel elegant. Who knows, maybe I will get one of his wedding dresses when I get married. Well, I guess if I did that, I would have a beautiful dress, but I would be the only one at the party, since we wouldn’t have any money left! This vintage Oscar de la Renta dress I found is proof that his designs are still at the top, 50 years later.

Raquel Zimmerman

I am so happy I came across this sneak peek of this fabulous editorial spread on Refinery29. It will be in March’s issue of V-Magazine, starring Raquel Zimmerman. This shoot pretty much sums up my love for fashion, and maybe has changed my views on having to clean my apartment! If I can look like Raquel while cleaning, I would clean my house all day, every day.

Inspiration of the day: ” Fashion is about good energy. It’s about feelings. That’s what I have to give the people, good energy and good feelings.”

I can always count on my best friend, Sarah, to give me advice on what new beauty and make-up products I need. I am telling you, she is the girl to go to if you need help finding a nail polish (she seriously knows every nail polish brand and color on the top of her head), or if you are looking for any new eye shadows, lip sticks, etc. She was home for a brief minute a few weeks ago, and she told me I had to get the MAC Cosmetics Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder. After she informed me of this life changing product, I made her rush out with me at 8:30 at night to make it to the mall before it closed, so I could get my hands on this product. If you are like me, and your skin gets oily by the end of the day, than this product is for you. Put just a little dab on after you finish applying your usual make-up, and then keep applying throughout the day when you feel your skin getting shiny. You will be amazed at how much it looks like you re-did your make-up after just putting a tiny bit of this miracle powder on. It is only $22, and it will change your life!

I have been searching for a new wallet, and I found a great Prada one on Ebay. I love the size of it and the bright color. I need a change from alway sticking to boring black wallets, especially since Spring is just around the corner. Having a wallet that is this color will save me so much time trying to find it in my huge bag filled with junk. The asking price is only $210, not too bad for Prada!

Too Much Gaga

Okay, I am probably one of Lady Gaga’s biggest fans, and I love how she isn’t afraid to wear crazy things, but let’s get serious, when is she crossing the line with her “stylish” looks? I would say 90% of the time I absolutely love what Gaga is wearing, but the other 10% is just so confused as to what she is trying to do. When is it too much? I think that her sporting antler ears, that look bigger than her, is crossing the line. What is the point of that? What fashion statement is she trying to make? There is a difference between being original, and being flat out weird, don’t you agree?

Yesterday, more than 800 pieces of vintage Chanel was at a Paris auction house, ready to be bought. This is another reason why I want to move to Paris… to be a part of these chic events! Everything from shoes, buttons, blazers, and dresses were a part of this fabulous auction. People from all over Europe as well as phone bidders from Asia and the U.S were the frantic shoppers…. this was a big deal. I have always wanted to attend an auction like this. I think you get great deals on things that usually cost thousands of dollars. Now women from all over the world will be able to sport these vintage Chanel classics for many more years.

Read the article on the auction.
