The purple trend has been hanging around for approximately 6 months. The world seems to still be obsessed with the color. Royal, eggplant, deep… any shade of purple, people need to have. Fall has arrived, and everyone must have at least one garment in this terrific color, or others around you will think you are crazy (no, not really). Why buy something that will make you over- draw from your account, when you can find something just as fabulous that will leave your family thankful? Below, I will show you all some fall essentials, and some major scores on looking like a million dollars, when really; you spent no more than $100!
Back in highschool, a girl once asked me, “Do scarves actually keep you warm? I see everyone wearing them, but I don’t understand how they keep you warm.” I pondered this question before answering; “They most definetly keep your neck nice and toasty, and they also give you a nice rats nest in the back of your hair!” Scarves have become such a fall/winter essential, even though some of the time, they are worn just for the look (at least by me).
Why spend $32.00 on the purple scarf to the left, when you can get this Viscose Scarf to the right for $7.99? They look the same, don’t they? Savings: $25.99!
Everyone needs to have hundreds of fun going out dresses hanging in their closets, even if they only wear them once, or maybe even never. Oh wait… maybe that is just me?! You can ask my mom or dad how many times I have dragged them by the arms down to Betsey Johnson (my top designer) to buy me fun, flirty dresses. I will admit I tend to only wear these dresses once, twice if lucky. I just love having all of the eye candy hanging in my closet! If you are like me, and love dress shopping, then maybe you should cut down the cost of the dress, but still have it looking like your top designers (mom and dad please pretend like you never read that!).
Should you spend $196.00 on this lovely Voom Pleats Bubble Dress on the left, or $56.00 on a BB Dakota dress, which is a very similar style? After I tell you that you would be saving: $140.00, then I think you would go with the BB Dakota Dress!
Tights are a must when it becomes cold out. It is always fun to spice your outfit up with a funky pair; it makes your outfit stand out more! What’s better than sporting a pair of purple tights with a black dress? Get over your fear of thinking purple is a “too over the top” color, or that you’re too old to wear purple! Let me remind you of something that you need to always keep in the back of your mind: you are never too old to be fashionable. Once you get over that hump, you will feel confident in your new look!
Would you spend $26.00 on these Tight End tights to the left, or on the tights to the right for Every Occasion for $16.99? It’s not much of a savings, but hey, saving is saving! Savings: $9.01.
Rompers are coming back into style! This makes me so excited because I absolutely adore rompers. They are fun to wear, and make you feel extra girly. I understand that some people are not into the one piece look, but try and step out of your comfort zone, because you may be surprised!
Do you want to spend $115.30 on the Rena Romper to the left, or $35.00 on the Lucy Fuschia Romper to the right? I don’t think there is much to think about when you are saving: $80.30!
Last, but definitely not least, (I could go on for hours), you must own a sweater dress. These are great to have. They are easy, comfortable, and most importantly they keep you warm!
Should you spend $58.00 on the Turtle Neck Sweater dress to the left, or $25.00 on the Mendes dress on the right? Both of these sweater dresses are too cute, but when it comes to saving: $33.00, I think we know which one to go for!
Happy Savings!
