It’s that time of year when the days seem to be shorter, darkness arrives at 6 p.m., and all of the trees’ leaves begin to change colors and slowly fall to the ground. This means one thing: Boot shopping! I must admit that I have a terrible addiction to boots; knee high, ankle, cowboy, brown, black, you name it, I probably have them! Lately, I have become completely obsessed with the “Equestrian” style. Last week I got a sudden urge to go out and buy my first new pair of boots of the season. I came across some beauties that I couldn’t keep my hands off of! They looked like riding boots, but with a silver tint, which gave them an edgier look. It was love at first site. I needed to have them!
I have always been a huge fan of my good friend Steve Madden. Steven, by Steve Madden is a trendy line that doesn’t leave your wallets empty. My new black beauties that I purchased last week at Nordstrom’s were by Steven. Originally, they were priced at a painful $228.95, then they were marked down to $129.95 (40% off), and as I was paying, they were marked down even more to $113.00, now I call that a deal!
Going back to my new phase of the “Equestrian” Style, you can further the look by adding a pair of zipper leggings, a long ruffled white top, and any cardigan. To jazz the look up, you can add accessories such as a necklace or a headband.
